Reasoning Important Puzzles(8) asked in Various Exams for IPPB and IDBI

Puzzle 1:
A,B,C,D,E,F,G and H are eight family members sitting around a circular table, facing the centre, but not necessarily in the same order. Each member likes a different genre of music viz. Rock, Metal, House, Jazz, Pop, Trance, R&B, and Folk, but not necessarily in the same order.
A is the head of the family and sits third to the left of wife B. G has two sisters and sits second to the right of his grandfather, who likes listening to Rock. D sits on the immediate left of her brother, who sits in front of his father. F sits between the person who like Metal and the person who like Jazz. Her favorite music genre is Pop. B has two sons and one of the son's like Jazz. H sits in front of her mother-in-law who likes Folk music. E's son likes R&B. C and his sister-in-law like Jazz and House respectively.


Puzzle 2:
Eight Persons A,B,C,D,E,F,G and H are sitting around a circular table and facing towards the centre but not necessarily in the same order.
A family has three generations. D's father sits second to the left of his nephew. B is the son of F who is second to the right of her son. D is the father of G and two persons sit between G and E. D's wife is opposite to E. E's brother B is the immediate neighbor of C's son. B is the father of H
No male is adjacent to C. F is the sister of C and C does not sit second to the left of B.

Puzzle 3:
Four families decided to go for a picnic to Robber's cave and agreed to meet at a place called Shahastradhara before moving for the picnic. Each family has a husband and a wife. One family has no Kid; while the others have at least one Kid each. Amongst each family with Kids, at least one Kid goes to the picnic. Following is the information about the families.
i) The family with two Kids came just before the family with no I ids
ii) 3 who does not have any Kids reached just before R's family
iii) A and his wife reached last with their only Kid
iv) B is not Q’s husband
v) B and D are fathers
vi) R's and P's daughters go to the same schooI
vii) Q came before 3 and met P when she reached the fixed place
viii) C stays farthest from the place and he is a good singer
ix) D explained that his son could not come because of exams

Puzzle 4:
Seven students of a school Gaurav Mohit; Saurabh, Priya; Ritika; Gautam and Kajal appeared for their annual exams. Following additional information is known:
i) No two students get same marks.
ii) Kajal always scores more than Gaurav.
iii) Gaurav alwaysscores more than Mohit.
iv) In each exam either Saurabh scores the highest marks and Ritika gets the least marks or alternatively Priya scores the highest and Gautam or Mohit scores the least.

Puzzle 5:

Eight friends are sitting in a circle facing towards the centre. Each of them likes different subjects i.e. Hindi. Physics, English, Maths. History, Biology, Chemistry and Zoology but not necessarily in the same order. Z, Y, X and W are females and V, U, T and S are males. Neither two female nor two male are adjacent with each other. U: who likes English, is sitting third to the right of X. X is sitting third to the right of V who likes Hindi. No male likes history and Maths. T is not the neighbour of V and U. S is sitting third to the right of Y who likes Chemistry. W, who likes Biology, is sitting between V and U. The one who likes History is not the neighbour of those who like Chemistry and English.
